Preliminary Clinical Evaluation
Your first visit will include an evaluation of your medical and dental history, prior to a comprehensive clinical examination. Dr. Brady will then explain what he believes to be the underlying issues of your orthodontic problem, and then discuss what options might be available for a correct orthodontic solution. He then may request that you obtain an orthodontic survey which might include impressions, photographs, and a limited number of x-rays of the teeth and surrounding structures. For your convenience, some of these records for the orthodontic survey will be taken in the office by Dr. Brady’s staff and some others may be taken at a Dental X-Ray Laboratory. These records will assist Dr. Brady in determining a correct diagnosis as well as the most effective and appropriate orthodontic solution.
Request an AppointmentInterdisciplinary Practice
As previously noted, Newport Center Orthotropics and Orthodontics prides itself in being one of the few outstanding Interdisciplinary Orthodontic Practices in Southern California. Therefore, prior to the commencement of any orthodontic treatment, an all inclusive conference will be held with all of your designated dental (and medical, if necessary) professionals to discuss and coordinate an appropriate orthodontic/dental treatment plan.
Consultation Visit
At this appointment, all of the diagnostic records will be presented along with a computerized and coordinated orthodontic analysis using the latest in imaging technology. Newport Center Orthotropics and Orthodontics is proud to be one of the first orthodontic practices to utilized the very new and sophisticated diagnostic system called “Dawson Diagnostic Wizard”. This contemporary diagnostic analysis is only one of several diagnostic programs which enables us to generate a complete visual representation of both existing orthodontic and/or compromised airway problems used to render an accurate presentation for effective treatment. (This information has all been coordinated by prior consultations with your Restorative Dentist, as well as any other appropriate Dental or Medical Specialists involved.)
